First of all, deseed the Custard Apples. Take a strainer and open the custard apple. Scoop out the flesh. Once the flesh is on the strainer, with the back of a spoon or a hand beater extract the seeds and pick them out. Collect the pulp below and spoon out the seeds. You can blend the pulp to a smooth paste.
Boil one cup of water in a pan. Once the water starts boiling add the jelly powder and liquid concentrate. Mix well and turn off the flame. Now add the second cup of water and mix.
Stir in the custard apple pulp and mix well.
Take a jelly mould and pour the jelly into it. Cool and set in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
Unmould the jelly on a platter and serve with heaped fresh fruit.
An easy, light and fancy Custard Apple and Strawberry Jelly Dessert are ready.
Recipe Notes
