Pomegranate & Walnut Parfait

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Greek yoghurt or plain hung curd
  • 5 tbsp Condensed Milk
  • 8 pieces Oreo Biscuits
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate pearls
  • Powdered sugar if necessary

Instructions
 

  • Take the Oreo biscuits and remove the cream layer with a knife.
  • Crush the Oreos in a pestle or in a mixer.
  • Take the Greek yoghurt in a bowl and add the condensed milk to it. Blend both together till creamy consistency. Check for the sweetness and if you want it sweeter then add powdered sugar to the yoghurt mix.
  • Chop the walnuts or just pound them coarsely.
  • Layering
  • Take two mason jars or ice-cream glasses.
  • Layer the bottom with the powdered Oreo Mixture.
  • Press it down with a spoon.
  • Now spoon the yoghurt mix onto the Oreos gently. Shake the jar to settle the mix.
  • Sprinkle the walnuts over the yoghurt.
  • Now repeat the layers once again.
  • Sprinkle the pomegranate pearls on top with little walnuts. Finally, sink an Oreo into each glass for an extra punch to this easy and satiny smooth Parfait with crunchy walnuts and chocolaty Oreos.
  • Serve the parfait cold.

Notes

It is a very flexible dessert. You can use cherries or strawberries.
You can use whipped cream instead of Greek yoghurt.
Any cookies of your choice Even almonds instead of walnuts.
