Awakening- Ignite Your Spark

Unleash the Spark Within
I am participating in #BLOGCHATTERA2Z YEAR 2025 &  Blogging from A to Z Challenge ! Every journey starts with one moment of awareness. That spark—the internal prompting—lets you know there’s something more. It may be the need for change, the long-repressed dream, or the unexplained pull towards something new. Start with the Awakening- Ignite Your Spark.
I remember the moment my spark ignited. An internal nudge, unmistakable, created a silent epiphany. I spent years plodding along, doing my work, and keeping my dreams in the background. But one day, I wondered—Is this all there is? And that changed everything.
Dreams on Hold, Not Lost
Believe me, as a teenager, I wanted to do theatre. But life had other plans. Married at the age of 19, my dreams were dismissed. For 40 years, I kept them on hold. And then I found the courage to take the ramp. It’s exhilarating, empowering, and unforgettable.
I’ve walked the ramp in two fashion shows so far. The first one in a saree. The latest one just last month for a jewellery company.
Breaking Free from Limiting Thoughts

Fear and doubt typically stifle this internal spark. Immediate family, society, peers, earlier failures, or self-made barriers make it easy to stay stuck. These barriers, though, exist only in the mind.
I believed for the longest time that I wasn’t good enough. That my voice didn’t matter. That my dreams were too big, too impractical. But the truth is that these were just stories I created. The moment I decided to rewrite them, everything changed. I exchanged my doubts for courage and my fear for faith.
Awakening- Ignite Your Spark
Embracing Change and Uncertainty
Fear of the unknown prevents us from taking the leap. Growth exists outside the comfort zone. The unknown holds lessons, experience, and potential that comfort never will.
I won’t lie—going into the unknown terrified me. My hands trembled when I published my first blog post. I opened up about my ideas and dared to chase my passion. But the fear lessened with each step, replaced by exhilaration. Embracing change has been the most liberating decision I’ve ever made.
Taking the First Step

Action brings ideas into the world. Even the smallest move in the right direction builds momentum. Don’t wait for the perfect moment. Start where you are, with what you have.
I started with nothing more than a notebook and a full heart of unspoken words. That was enough. Your start does not need to be great; it just needs to be real. Write, paint, speak, explore—do what sets your soul ablaze. Step by step, one leads to another, and before you know it, you are walking down a road you never knew existed.
Staying Committed to the Journey
The awakening is only the beginning. Obstacles will arise, but resilience gets you moving. Keep connected to purpose. Remind yourself why you started.
There were times I wanted to give up and wondered if my work made any difference. But each heartfelt comment, each person who found comfort in my words, reminded me why I started. Surround yourself with the ones who believe in you, keep growing, and have faith in the process. Growth is lifelong, and commitment fuels it.
Conclusion
Acknowledging the spark within you is the first step towards transformation. Doubts need to be overcome, change needs to be embraced, and action needs to be taken. It won’t always be easy, yet always worth the journey. Trust in yourself, hold onto your light and begin today. Your life has more, and the world is waiting for your story.
