I feel privileged for reviewing EASY RECIPES FROM MADS’ COOKHOUSE | BOOK REVIEW by Madhu Bindraji. Such an inspiration for all. Kudos ma’am!

About the Author:

Madhu BindraA food aficionado, Madhu Bindra is a young septuagenarian. Age is no bar for coming out with a recipe book or storming the social media with her seductive recipes. She loves to cook, feed, and eat as well. Her tantalizing and finger-licking food is irresistible. Her home is filled with the aroma of scrumptious food cooking. Donning the hats of an interior designer, an army wife, and mother, she believes food should be simple and easy to cook, just like her tagline states-Home cooking was never this uncomplicated. Yes, cooking is an art, like music; anybody can play the piano but a special few bring out the melody. And that’s what Madhu Bindra does; creates a symphony in the kitchen.

About the Book: EASY RECIPES FROM MADS’ COOKHOUSE | BOOK REVIEW

The book has a medley of appetisers, breakfast, soups, main course and sides and dips. The recipes bust the myth that cooking is no rocket science. The thought of cooking Biryani can be daunting but here they have been simplified to suit the easy cooking lifestyle of the day.
The family that eats together stays together and cooking at home is a great way to unite your family over the dining table. Even temperamental teenagers or fussy eaters love a home-cooked meal. Having travelled all over India, Madhu ji has incorporated recipes from different places- like the Khaman Dhokla from Gujarat or the Ravva Idli and Upma from South India. Some of her recipes are family heirlooms from her mom’s kitchen.

Her Repertoire

Her repertoire is not limited to Indian cuisine; there is a delicious frittata and a crispy bruschetta, a quesadilla and a kettle chicken to appease her foodie kids. All this and more in EASY RECIPES FROM MADS’ COOKHOUSE | BOOK REVIEW. All the recipes are easy-peasy, using simple ingredients found in every kitchen. Cooking is not just about eating, so feast your eyes on the elegant plating and styling of the dishes. Ordering in might feel like a quick and easy but in these days of #lockdown and COVID scare, home-cooked meals can boost your immunity.

Rating

I would give this book a 5-star rating just for its simplicity and easy to follow recipes.
