I am doing most of it, except making a photo book. I had planned that and even taken out the pix, but I had so many that i gave up. It will take me months to do that. But it’s good to make the book while the memories are afresh.

Oh lovely! I travel not too much but enough to keep me happy. I just click photos and never bother to arrange them in any way particular way. My travel memories are all in my head, and if people remember, then through stories that I share with my family and friends. Your ideas are great, simple yet creative. I’m not sure if I will ever get over my laziness to actually use your lovely ideas. But when I do feel inspired, I will definitely use them.

We have started traveling extensively just a year ago. We couldn’t do much of traveling before because an old and ailing mother-in-law lived with us. Your article on travel memories seems to tell me not to hold back my desire to roam the world. The photo book seems like a great place to start for a novice like me.

Very nice ideas, I am particularly fond of keeping a travel memory box. I usually keep some keepsakes in an ornate wood box at home and sometimes I look at it to plan my next big adventure

I loved the idea of a travel memory box. I usually keep tickets from travels but somehow after coming back, I would never know where to keep it safe. Some I’ve lost over the years of careless handling. But now I know what to do of them. A friend of mine used to collect the local newspapers of the places he visited. To each, his own. Thanks for sharing your ideas, Harjeet.

I use social media and collecting souvenirs from whichever new place I visit to ensure I never forget the place. The other ideas seem quite intriguing as well, especially creating a scrapbook and treasure box. Will try those sometime soon 🙂

Traveling gives me the reasons to smile and I always love to record my travel memories either in form of photo book or Photo Album. When I turn the pages of these books it takes me back to the places and the beautiful memories I created there. I love collaging my memories of travel through travel books. I use Zoomin , and Yourprint for my travel memory books.

We usually use a souvenir box for all our travels. Before camera phones, there were lots of albums. I will surely try out the other ideas you have suggested.

I remember in the old days, we would capture memories on camera film and when the prints came out , I would add a short note along with the date on the backside, it could be a joke we shared, a feeling , or just a note about the place.Documenting our travels has become far more easier now thanks to technology.

I love the idea of a travel memory box Harjeet… but it would need space n my house is already too full. It would be so nice to open the box once in a while n remember the good times.
Now I got another good idea from your blog … to create slides of pics. When we were kids, we had a slide viewer at home n sometimes my uncle used to do slide shows n we all loved that.
It would be fun to do that now too. Thanks for the suggestion 🤗

I am not comfortable sharing my personal life online so a travel blog is out of the question. A travel scrapbook sounds fun. Love your ideas. I have a box for all the souvenirs from our travels. It is a lovely reminder of good times.

These are such great tips, Harjeet ji, to keep our travel memories alive, and fortunately, I am doing everything here you mentioned. I have a blog, a vlog, a travel diary, and a memento box, and I am on social media too. These are so precious, I can explain.

These ideas truly make me want to start documenting my own travels more creatively! Social media sharing and making mini travel reels are a good modern ways of keeping those vacation memories alive. But there is just something special about those photo albums and scrap books. We still have so many photos from our old family vacations in mini albums. And everytime we watch it, we all feel so happy and excited recalling those memories.

I love capturing my travel memories in photo albums and on a pen drive. Every time I look at them, I’m transported back to the places I’ve visited and the wonderful moments I’ve experienced. The idea of a travel memory box sounds fantastic, and I can’t wait to start one on my next trip.

This is something I struggle to do whenever we travel. Caught between trying to capture memories and being present, I tend to choose one one of it and regret not being able to do the other in the end. I guess learning to find that fine line of capturing moments and knowing my limits so I still find that time being present is something I really need to improve in.
