The book has 23 recipes from the simple Khichdi to the exotic Zucchini. One chapter is dedicated to tips for Healthy eating while another shares quick prep ideas for busy moms. There is one chapter where she shares healthy eating tips from her Blogger friends. The title leftover Laziz Paratha sounds good to hear and am sure it is great to taste as well. The book starts off with the Healthy Amaranth Paratha with tomato chutney and lists out the benefits of Amaranth as well. The oats, stuffed and naturally coloured Idlis’ are innovative and healthy.
What I liked Best
The necessity for healthier lifestyles has never been more profound and more so for busy moms.The tips and prep ideas will help many harried moms to plan a menu and execute it as well. It is a compact book with some great healthy recipes. It is an easy read and the recipes are not limited to Indian ingredients.
What didn’t work for me?
For a first-timer, the book is a good attempt but for further books, the book is very short while the subject is vast. The recipes need to be formatted properly. The book needs a vocab and grammar edit. The essence of health is wealth is there but I missed personal anecdotes and examples.
