Lemon Chicken Recipe
L always reminds me of tangy Lemons.-BlogchtterA2Z2023.. This Lemon Chicken Recipe is an easy low-carb recipe that is a marvellous-pot meal. It’s a great recipe if you are on a diet. Lemon Chicken is an easy, tender chicken with the most creamy, cheesy lemon butter sauce ever. The idea for this Lemon Chicken is from the Headbangers Kitchen, but I added mushrooms and broccoli to the pot meal. The king, the queen, and the flavour of this dish is the lemon.
Lemon Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
150 gms Boneless Chicken thighs cubed
2 tbsp Grated Mozzarella or Cheddar Cheese
1 lemon juice
2 tbsp Cream
½ Tsp pepper
1 tsp Mixed Herbs…Thyme, Oregano, Basil
¼ Tsp chilli flakes
2 tbsp butter
Fresh Coriander
50 gms broccoli chopped fine
50 gms mushroom sliced finely
Method:
First, season the chicken on both sides with salt, pepper and lemon seasoning.
NexthHeat 1 tbsp butter in a skillet
Fry chicken on both sides for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Add the mixed herbs and the chilli flakes and stir nicely.
Deglaze the pan with water. Remove the chicken from the fire and set it aside.
In the same pan, heat one tbsp butter and sauté the broccoli and butter for a couple of minutes. Add one cup of water and let it cook till done. Now add the lemon wedges to the water to give the veggies a lemony flavour.
Add the chicken to the veggie broth. Add salt.
Sprinkle the grated cheese and cream on the chicken.
Mix well. Once the chicken is done and creamy, remove it from the fire and garnish it with fresh coriander.
