It is the start of a new month and India is on lockdown. Social Distancing, Isolation, Quarantine and working from home is the new normal. These days are going to be a test of our time management and engaging in interesting pursuits. I am a movie buff and steer clear from daily soaps. We have many options at the flick of a remote but then choosing what to watch is also a huge task.

Comfort Watching

Comfort-watching the rerun of olden goldies is one option but then when we are going to be cooped up for so many days. If you are wondering where to watch free movies, look no further as ZEE5 is offering its premier movies for free. Watching movies distracts my mind from the anxiety of the Lockdown and of “C”. The best way to keep the mind engaged is by streaming all those movies that have not been ticked off on your playlist for way too long.

There is the whole gamut of genres to choose from comedy, drama to pandemic and zombie movies. Just take your pick! I binge on romcoms usually but the movies on offer are luring me to change my preferences.

1. Somehow I missed out watching ABCD –Anybody can dance and be glad to see it streaming. If you love to dance then this movie is for you. ABCD are the alphabets of dance like Do Re Mi is to music. It is like Pygmalion where a dance teacher mentors a group of raw dancers to become the best dancing squad in the country. You can groove to beats of the peppy songs. dance. The hip-hop numbers are great and the street dance is wild. Watch Prabhu Deva, our desi Jackson, as the dance guru and the dancers following him like Pied Piper.
2. BGMC-Batti gul meter chalu is another I would recommend just for the dashing Shahid Kapoor magic and as it addresses the issue of electricity and how we deal with it. It can be watched with long intervals with chai sessions as it is a bit too long.
3. Paltan suits these troubles times when we have our soldiers fighting on the civilian front too, to get people into quarantine or to supply daily needs. The sacrifices they make for the nation and the feeling of passionate patriotism. It is all about loving our soldiers and their selfless service.

Or take your pick from the stand-up comedy shows on offer for a good laugh Learn something new by changing your viewing choice like I did to break the monotony and to broaden my conversational topics.
