Christmas dessert Creamy Custard and Jelly.

Christmas Dessert | Creamy Custard and Jelly

A quick and easy recipe for a pre- Christmas Dessert | Creamy Custard and Jelly ……with just six ingredients is what I am sharing today. I was running short of one leg as I have twisted my knee and I had to rustle up a scrumptious luncheon. Cooking the starters and the main course was done and I hadn’t given a thought to the dessert. It was one of those days that even a simple dessert seemed like too much effort.

I grabbed the first ingredients from the pantry and started off and I wasn’t sure that I would have a sweet treat in no time. There was milk, custard powder a pack of jelly and I wondered what would make it different. The fresh pomegranate pearls from my garden were beckoning in the fridge and so was the condensed milk and cream. I added them to my booty and was raring to go.

I just boiled the milk, added the condensed milk, cream and swirled in the custard powder. Poured it into individual glasses, sprinkled some pomegranate pearls, poured the jelly and let it set. Sounds yummy, doesn’t it?

Let it set in the freezer for an hour.

Sprinkle some confetti….ooops! Pomegranate pearls on the custard.

Meanwhile, boil one cup of water and add the jelly powder to it. Stir well until mixed and turn off the flame. Add one cup of cold water.

Once cool pour the jelly mix over the pomegranate and set in the fridge.
