nutritious chicken a la king recipe. the name of this dish itself is royal and exotic, so is the taste. all you people sitting out the lockdown have ample time on your hands so please try out this nutritious recipe. believe me, you will end up licking your fingers dry. yes, the recipe is a bit elaborate and needs a bit more of prep and long cooking time. this tasty main dish, nutritious chicken a la king recipe is bursting with tender chicken and colorful vegetables. while cooking the aroma is intoxicating.

why is slow cooking good

well, slow cooking helps retain the nutritive value of the food. this food is certainly healthy and nutritious. in our fast-paced lives, we have forgotten the authentic taste of slow-cooked meals. i have vivid memories of my mom cooking dal makhani on a charcoal angithi. she would put the pot on the burning embers in the morning and by evening it would be cooked to a rich, smooth, creamy dal which was delectable. the magic in her cooking lied in slow cooking.

check out my previous post majestic chicken, the first on my series on chicken recipes and before that, it was chicken sandwiches.
