Natural Munjalu or Ice Apple Sherbet
N for Natural for #BlogchatterA2Z Challenge. Carrying on with yesterday’s introduction to munjalu, here is a Natural Munjalu or Ice Apple Sherbet. Fancy, expensive packed juices can never compare with fresh, nutritionally loaded, fruit juices made at home. Fresh homemade juices are consumed immediately and contain all the minerals and nutrients. The juice packaged in packs is stored in huge vats that lack oxygen. It is processed(all the natural flavours are eliminated) The manufacturers then add artificial flavours. These are stored and then sold.
Fatigue in summer is due to dehydration even if you are sitting indoors; all the more reason to intake fluids during summer. Fresh juices with natural sugar and zero preservatives keep your energy levels high and boost your immunity. By having any of these, your body will be able to tolerate the extremely hot weather.
I have already introduced this summer fruit Taati Munjalu or Ice Apples
You can try these naturally cooling summer drinks: Watermelon & Ice Apple Mocktail, Watermelon Juice, Mango Juice, Gond Katira Sherbet, Mango Mojito, Homemade Thandai, Aam Panna iced tea. By having at least one of these a couple of times a day, you will notice an incredible difference in how you react to the blazing heat.
Today I made this Taati Munjalu or Ice Apple Sherbet. It is very refreshing and energising. Load yourself with fresh juices to stimulate your salivary glands. This keeps your parched throat hydrated for a longer period in Summer.
