10 Ways to Manifest
Thinking aspirational thoughts or in one word, Manifesting has burst upon the scene with covid. Practising Manifestation to turn your dreams into reality has been rising along with Affirmations, wellness, self-love and self-care. You must have heard about Rhonda Byrne’s book, The Secret, which floats the concept of The law of Attraction or Manifestation. 30 million copies and still going strong, with Oprah, Deepak Chopra and other wellness Gurus, quoting it often. Heal your mind through a Mind Clearing Exercise and prop your mental health. It is possible to manifest even while suffering from anxiety is not impossible. You can use it as a coping mechanism to thwart negative self-talk and convert it into a positive, healthy state of mind. Use these 10 Ways to Manifest.
Positive Affirmations can help you break the cycle of negativity. Manifesting doesn’t turn out overnight. It requires discipline, dedication and hands-on steps to turn your thoughts into reality. It takes time, but the end result is worth the labour and the wait.
What is Manifestation?
Basically, manifestation is converting your dreams into reality by the law of attraction and conviction. Think about it and it will come true. Be clear about your goals in order to realise them through your thoughts, faith, actions and feelings.
How to Manifest?
1. Be Clear About Your Goals
Be crystal clear about the goals you want to manifest. Know what you want, and own your thoughts. Each one of us has a dream which is exclusive, whether it’s money, love or health you are seeking.
2. Jot it Down
Once you’ve set your goal, ask for it; write it down in your journal or on a piece of paper. The 3,6, and 9 method is the best way to do it. Write it down- three times in the morning, six times in the afternoon, and nine times at night. Continue this without a break for 33 or 45 days. Or you could just write a letter to the universe.
3. Work Toward Your Goals
According to Gabrielle Bernstein, author of Super Attractor and The Universe Has Your Back, “Manifesting known as co-creating is a collaboration between you and the universe.” This is exactly why knowing what you want is only half the battle—you will not see any results without action. Set aside a bit of time to think about what steps you can take to reach your goals yourself, then build them into your routine. For example, if you want to make a major career change, start networking with people in your new field and practice for a job interview.
4. Ask the Universe
A popular quote by Paulo Coelho is, “When you want something, all the universe conspires to help you achieve it.” After identifying your goals or targets, throw them out to the universe. Use various methods like prayer, visualizing, chanting it out loud, listening to an audio of your affirmations or creating a vision board that you can view throughout the day. The universe responds and will conspire to give you what you desire, but you have to listen and be receptive.
5. Be Mindful
Be mindful and express gratitude for everything you receive. Even if you do not get everything you visualize in the time you have imagined, humble gratitude is the key to manifestation.
6. Gratitude Journal
Start a gratitude journal. Every night before going to sleep, take a few minutes to write things you are grateful for or even if you see a step towards your goal. It could be any little thing, but if you render gratitude, it adds to your affirmations.
7. Re-do Your Beliefs
We have inflexible mindsets and belief systems. We condition our minds in such a way that we believe we are fat or thin or fair or dark, hence not good or worthy enough. Unforeseen fears and negative self-talk keep churning in our subconscious minds. Note down your negative beliefs and replace them with positive affirmations. If you think you are not worthy just because you are fat, it’s an image people have created for you. Write affirmations like, “I am a wonderful person”. This would change your reality.
8. Channel your Energy
We all live on energy, and the energy that we release into the universe is what we get back. If we continually send out negative energy through our actions or even our thoughts, we will not reap positive energy. Consciously, raise your vibration by shifting your energy to positive thoughts, which will create a positive harvest. Emphasise and nurture activities that give you joy personally or by spreading it. If you are seeking kindness, then be kind to yourself. Be kind and empathetic to family, friends, or society. In the same way, if you want love, then become more loving first.
9. Yoga or Meditation
A healthy mind needs a healthy body. Start your day with yoga, pranayama, meditation or just a walk in nature. This would entail self-care and a healthy, positive mind.
10. What Is the Law of Attraction?
“The law of attraction is a philosophy that claims one’s thoughts determine their reality. An individual attracts what they think.” You can attract what you truly want or need. You can attract anything you want and live your dream life.
For Example, You can Attract and Have
- A Fulfilling Relationship
- Good Health
- Wealth
- Chosen Field of Study
- A Dream Job
- A Chosen Partner
- A Baby
- A New Home
- A Car
- Travel to Your Deam Destination

Harjeet, I read this book and watched the movie last year. So glad you created a post to spread the word. Practicing an abundance mindset and law of attractions really works, our brains are wired to fire-off on familiar things, we start to see the glass half fun.
I am reading Secret and it’s good. Thank you for the recommendations.
I like the ‘re-do your beliefs’ tip!
What a brilliant blogpost this is! Manifestation is so powerful, but we should understand it the right way and practice it with positive attitude.
This is such a great listing! I’d surely be following them in manifesting my goals!!! Appreciate you writing about this. Came in such a timely manner.
I never practised manifestation until I read The Secret and since then it has changed my life. I totally agree with your post and believe that your mind is the biggest tool to manifest positivity in your life and help you achieve your goals.
The book definitely gives us a different perspective to life. Beautiful one.
Thanks for recommending a highly helpful book with a nice concept.
Our mindset determines how we see the world and take advantage of opportunities. Knowing how to manifest our goals can be the first step to making those dreams a reality. Thank you for your recommendation of this book.
I believe in the power of manifestation. It’s the best way to determine your goals and consciously focus your energies on realising them.
I like your post Harjeet. You have given a step by step process of goal setting and explained everything in simple terms and clearly. However, the one n big downside about manifestation for me is, the opposite happens in my case, if I visualize something, even the smallest, it NEVER happens. That is why I stopped reading Secret after page 1😀. I don’t know how it happens but this thing is something very unique n weird about me.
A beautiful post. I started it in last 2 years and it really vworks. The details knowledge I got it after reading your blog post. Thank you for the information. And I like Ask the universe and in reality universe is taking care of what you sow.
I have never tried manifesting. I should give it a try. Thank you for sharing such a detailed post and all the information in a simple way.
I truly believe in the Law of Attraction. Although I am yet to reap any results and don’t follow it step by step, I firmly believe in Buddha’s saying that you become what you think. It prevents me from dwelling on any kind of negativity.
I have heard the wonders that manifestation brings. Tough i do believe in the power of positive thoughts, i have actually formally practiced manifestation.
I am kind of on the fence about this, Harjeet. I have tried it a couple of times and it didn’t really work. Maybe I was doing it wrong. Will try it against using the steps you shared.
I have seen one thing, whenever I give up on something, I get it. I understood it why and how, can you help me understand it?
My relationship with manifestation has been a little rocky simply because I haven’t been able to convince myself to start it. I read a lot about it and even have a Pinterest board, but getting around to actually doing it has been tough. Fingers crossed, I’ll get my inspiration from your post 😀
I am bookmarking this post. It is great to see such a detailed article on manifestation in a listed format.
I love The Secret! Thanks for these easy to follow tips!
