Spicy Noodles & Fried Rice Bowl Recipe

Are you ready for a double whammy? An amazing combo of Spicy Noodles & Fried Rice Bowl Recipe in one dish it is a win-win, one-pot meal for all noodles and rice lovers. Think of any veggies used in Chinese cuisine and use it for this recipe. I have used onions, green peppers, beans, shredded cabbage and a whole load of baby corn. Some other vegetables to throw into the stir-fry along with these could be broccoli, peas, sliced mushrooms, or red and yellow peppers.

Crunchy & Spicy Noodles & Fried Rice Bowl Recipe

I love the crunch of baby corn and the colours of the other veggies combined with spicy sauces make this Noodles & Fried Rice Bowl Recipe a medley of flavours and colours. Topped with a crunchy garnish of roasted and crushed peanuts, this dish will surely tickle your taste buds. The mingling of flavours, of aromatic garlic, green chillies and blending of vinegar, soy sauce and the spicy schezwan sauces is downright heavenly, making the Spicy Noodles & Fried Rice Bowl Recipe a favourite any time you serve it.

Crunchy baby corn and a load of healthy veggies tossed with garlic and enhanced with Schezwan and tomato sauce should be served immediately to savour the crisp and juicy vegetables engulfing the noodles. Ingredients

1 large cup of boiled rice

1 large cup of boiled noodles

2 cups baby corn diagonally cut and parboiled

1 cup onions cubed

1 cup capsicum chopped in cubes

½ cup French beans cut diagonally

½ cup carrot cut in circles

1 cup shredded cabbage

½ cup spring onion greens chopped

2 tbsp roasted crushed peanuts

1 tsp vinegar

2 tbsp oil

2 tsp finely chopped garlic

1 tbsp vinegar

2 green chillies

1 tbsp tomato sauce

2-3 tbsp. schezwan sauce

½ tsp. of sugar

Salt to taste

Method

Chopped Vegetables

Heat the oil in a wok or a broad non-stick pan, add, garlic and onions and sauté on a high flame for a few seconds.

Add the capsicum, beans and carrots, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute.

Add the baby corn and sauté until done. Add vinegar, soy, tomato and schezwan sauces,

Finally, add the shredded cabbage and mix well. Add the salt.

Boiled Noodles
Boiled Rice

Eventually, add the boiled noodles and rice and give a final toss to the whole dish.

Roasted Peanuts

Garnish with the spring onions and the coarsely ground peanuts.

Spicy Noodles & Fried Rice Bowl Recipe is ready to be served. A wholesome one-pot meal for that lazy– nothing-to-do-much-Sundays. Sounds good?

  • 1 cup largeof boiled rice

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp Finely Chopped Garlic

Notes

  1. Add any veggies of your choice.
  2. You can make only noodles or only fried rice the same way.
  3. Boil the rice and noodles till they have a little bite in them.
