Strawberry Cream Biscuit Pudding

Strawberry Cream Biscuit Pudding B

Strawberry Cream Pudding

#BlogchatterA2Z’s second post with the letter B- for the biscuit. Chilled desserts may seem like a s-well-te-ring idea, but the result could be ab-so-loot-li no fun for the chef. The heat in the kitchen can make you lose your cool. Keep your kitchen and yourself, nice and cool with this no-cook So lie back and enjoy your chilled dessert with these summer no-bake recipes. Keep cool, lay back on that reclining chair, flipping channels and relish this Strawberry Cream Biscuit Pudding.

It is a good idea to whip up no-cook recipes. The Pineapple pudding recipe shared before gave birth to this strawberry cream pudding.  Crunchy biscuits topped with glazed strawberries and whipped cream make a fruity, creamy and cool dessert. Strawberry like the Pineapple is tangy and the combination with the sweet cream and crispy biscuits is delectable.

Recipe for Strawberry Cream Biscuit Pudding

Fresh Strawberries

Ingredients:

12 Britannia Marie biscuits or any crackers

20 strawberries, sliced thin save a few for garnishing.

1 tbsp cocoa powder

½ cup powdered sugar

500 gms fresh cream

1 tbsp of choco chips.

Method

Firstly,  crush the biscuits coarsely with a rolling pin.

Next, mix the cocoa powder, milk and sugar to make a thin syrup.

Subsequently, take a bowl or individual cups, layer the powdered biscuit and sprinkle the cocoa syrup so that the biscuits are drenched but not soggy.

Now, place it in the freezer for  10 minutes.

Concurrently,  slice the strawberries. Drizzle sugar on the strawberries.

Now, remove the bowl from the fridge to make a layer with the strawberries over the biscuit layer. Freeze for an hour or two, till the cream sets and then move it to the fridge.

If the cream is light and runny, pour it into a metal bowl over a bed of ice. Whip it into a nice fluffy consistency. Take care not to overbeat it or it will turn to butter.

Fnally spread the whipped cream on the biscuit and strawberry layers. If you want a double layer, repeat the layer of biscuit, strawberry and cream once again.

Garnish with fruits and choco chips. Cover with foil or cling film and chill until set.

Open once set and Voila!! You have a perfect dessert in summer without sweating it out.

Relish the crunchy layer of biscuits with the tartness and sweetness of the strawberries sandwiched between the rich smooth cream and biscuits.

Try this homemade whipped cream, Strawberry Cream Biscuit Pudding and let me know what you think about it.
