Moringa Masala Buttermilk Recipe
South Indians cannot do without Summer Drinks like Moringa Masala Buttermilk Recipe or just Buttermilk all throughout the year as we live in a really hot land. We have only two seasons here; summer and more summer! It is a staple in almost every meal and if it is not Buttermilk or Majjiga then curds or yoghurt is a must to cool down the system. Many just churn curds and water and drink it bland but most at home have a spiced or masala buttermilk which is doubly cooling and thirst-quenching.
Moringa Masala Buttermilk Recipe
Masala Buttermilk is easy to make and you can add and remove ingredients of your choice. I like to add Moringa powder as it is supposed to be a nutrient-packed. Moringa is nothing but the drumstick tree which is abundantly found here. A friend of mine who has a farm first gifted me a bottle of homemade moringa powder and I found it to be a good supplement. Then I bought one from the store but then I have a vegetable garden and got the seeds and sowed them. Within a few months, I have 2 Moringa or drumstick trees and now I can make my own homemade Moringa powder. You just have to wash and dry the leaves and make a powder. You can even dry roast in the micro if you cannot dry it out in the sun.
